Juveniles of all ages and standards are welcome in the Club. For those aged 8-14, the training times are Monday & Wednesday at 18.30. Meet at the Clubhouse, Main Street, Rathfarnham Village (opposite AIB Bank). Start backMonday 3rd Sept. after summer break.

. Adam is a Fitness Professional Ireland Member, AAI Qualified Coach (Level 4) and was AAI National Coach of the year in 2007. He is supported by some experienced assistant coaches and all juveniles are well looked after. Come down and try the sessions out.
Our junior athletes (14 to 19 years) prepare for both schools and club cross country championships over the months of September to January. At the end of January the focus changes to preparation for Track and Field (T&F) events. Our junior athletes compete in both schools and Club T&F championships.
We now have a thriving junior boys and girls section of the Club. Our junior athletes have been very successful in both schools and club competitions. We are a friendly club and all new members are warmly welcomed. We give all new members plenty of time to settle in before competing in races.
Our junior athletes train on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Bushy Park (meet 6.30pm at the children’s playground) and on Saturdays at 10.00.
Philip Halpin is coach to our junior athletes. He holds Level 3 (AAI) and Level 4 (IAAF) coaching qualifications. Philip at AAI Coaching Course.
