Mark Christie from Mullingar Harriers went one better in winning the Rathfarnham 5k. on 4th Oct. 2009 in a time of 14.22. He was 2nd, in 2008. Alan O'Brien from Crusaders was  2nd. in time of 14.42 and Michael Mulhare, North Laois was 3rd. in 14.50. In the Ladies race Lynda Byrne DSD was first in a time of 16.10 to repeat her win from 2008. Fionnuala Britton Sli Cualann was 2nd. in 16.34 and Annette Kealy from Raheny was 3rd in 16.46. Annette was also first Master home. John Downs, Donore was first Masters home and was also 7th overall. Rathfarnham WSAF won the mens team title, while Sportsworld won the Ladies team title. Full results are attached. Photos of the race are in the Gallery.
