Congratulations to Eoin Flynn who won the 3k invitation race in Santry last night in a time of 8.30 - 9 seconds ahead of the second placed athlete and a pb for Eoin. Brian Furey, Jason Reid and David Scanlon also competed for the club, finishing in 9.34, 9.35 and 10.07 respectively. In the 800m, Ian Ingram ran the fastest time of the evening, finishing in 2.06, followed by Stuart McClean (2.07), Olli O'Neill (2.25) and John Mc Hugh (2.27). Well done to all.

Well done to Barry Minnock and Paul Fleming who scored gold and silver in the M35 5000m event in the European Track and Field championships in Nyiregyhaza, Hungary earlier this evening. Barry and Paul’s medal-winning times of 15.09 and 15.16 respectively were also the fastest overall for the 5k in the championships. Congratulations to both on their great performances.

Congratulations to Paul Fleming who won silver in the M35 category in the 1500m race in the European Masters Track and Field championships in Hungary yesterday, in a time of 4:02.80. Barry Minnock finished in 8th place in 4:11.46, after getting trapped in a group behind the lead runners. Paul and Barry will both compete in the 5000m event tomorrow afternoon. Best of luck to both.
