We had 3 Club runners in the BHAA 3k trace race series in Ringsend last Wednesday. First home was Eoin Murry in 11.18, followed by Philip Wright in 11.16 and Heiner Schuster in 12.13. Well done to all. Full results on BHAA website.

Congratulations to Barry Minnock, Eoin Flynn and Peter O’Farrell who were 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the IMRA World Championship Trial on Saturday, and have been selected to represent Ireland in the World Mountain Running Championships on September 5th in Slovenia. The trio also won the club prize for Rathfarnham, finishing within a minute of each other in 36.02, 36.19 and 36.53 respectively. Mark Ryan finished in 12th place in 39.43, and scored on the winning Dublin team in the inter-counties championships, along with Eoin and Peter. Well done to all. Well done to Jason Reid who was 22nd in the Steets of Galw\y 8k in a time of 27.21. Turlough Conway was 27th in 27.36, followed by Sean Doyle in 29.18 (2nd. Over 50) and Philip Wright in 31.15 (1st. Over 55 ). Full results are available on the Galway City Harriers website. Some good photos of the lads running in the race are on Eirefoto website.
