Well done to Rathfarnham WSAF AC's Aisling O'Connor who was a fantastic 2nd woman home in the 2018 Annual Great Pink Run 10k in aid of Breat Cancer Awareness. Great run in a wet and windy Phoenix park on Sunday 14th October. 


Big congratulations to Carla Sweeney who won the gold medal and Louise Gaffney who won the Bronze medal at the 2018 Dublin Novice Cross Country Championships in the Phoenix Park on Sunday 7th October. To top that, the team Silver went to Rathfarnham WSAF AC with the team made up of Carla, Louise, Ber Crowley and Laura Ryan and backed up by Aisling O’Connor, Lorraine Nolan, Beth Neal, Sue Ryan, Jenny O’Malley, Noreen Fitzsimons.

There were strong runs by Neil Skelton, Kevin Donagher and Shane Grehan in the men’s race.

This year’s Rathfarnham 5k on 30th of September was another huge success for the club. Times were again very fast in one of the country’s premier 5k road races. Well done to the well-oiled organising machine on running a flawless event.  The men’s team of Sean Hehir, Mitchel Byrne and Louis McCarthy came first overall and the women’s fourth.
