Irish Runner National 5k Phoenix Park May 4th

We had seven Rathfarnham WSAF AC athletes in action in the National 5k road race on Saturday 4th May with some great results. Bobby Murphy ran 15:21 for 7th in the national championships and Gold medal in the M35’s. Getting stronger by the week Brian Furey ran 17:47. Micheal Murphy ran 18:37. Bobby, Brian and Micheál together won the M35 team gold! Tom Cuddy, with a whole weeks rest after the London marathon won the M60 silver in 19:30 with John McCabe taking bronze in 20:00. Michael Ferry and Peter McDermott won M70 Gold and Silver in 24:08 and 25:14. Well done everybody!
