Training Times

There are four main club training days. Training plans are provided and are varied depending on fitness level and target races.

    Tuesday:      Loreto Park at 18.30. Intervals/Tempo etc

    Thursday:    18:30 Clubhouse, Main Street, Rathfarnham Village. Core/Strength/Plyometrics followed by speed/hill reps.

    Saturday:     Cross country course Tymon Park. Starts beside car park at Basketball arena (Winter)

                         Tempo/Threshold/Intervals Bushy Park. Meet 8:50/9:50 near the children's playground. (Mainly summer)

                         Track training on the Tallaght Athletics track, Tallaght village. All athletes should be there at 9:50am for a 10am                           start. Training finishes at 11am. (Time varies sometimes)

   Sunday:        Long Slow Run. 8.00/9:00 The Clubhouse, Main Street, Rathfarnham. This varies so ask about distance/route at                             Tuesday training as speed times vary.

We provide a friendly and sociable training environment, and new members of all standards are welcome to come along and try out any of the training sessions. Pictures of our Nutgrove Park training location are in the Gallery Section.
